Our May trip to the property was still full of work, but we definitely made time to play
In June we did what we’ve wanted to do for a while – dig up a seep in the ravine, and guess what?! There was WATER!
July’s visit was pretty much all about harnessing these beautiful natural springs we uncovered in our ravine. We became junior water engineers and established what we hope will be a viable source of water for our future homestead!
On this episode we discuss our disappointments from our most recent visit to the property, but also some really cool and fun things that happened, plus more of how Steve is preparing for the big hunt just over a month away. As always, we will update you on our city homestead and what we are learning from this year’s garden.
Steve finally gets to go hunt big game! We will recap how it went and what he learned. We are changing things up in our household and reprioritizing our goals. It is time to exit the hamster wheel and make some scary jumps to start the ripples of real change in our family and to actually make our homestead goals achievable.
Well, quite a bit has happened since October last year and it is time to recap. We celebrate the one year anniversary of purchasing our property and starting a homestead dream. We will look back at what we have done and get ourselves pumped for the coming year!
